Barrington Hall Security Initiatives: Overview

Flock Safety Cameras - Acquiring cameras for the entrances to our community that capture license plate information was the initial focus behind the formation of BHNA.  We have been extremely pleased with the search features, image quality and comprehensive information Flock Safety provides.  In addition BHNA Members have the option to register their vehicle license plates with Flock Safety's "SafeList" that automatically deletes captured images upon upload to their servers.  Through growth of BHNA Membership, we hope to add an outbound camera at the Zebulon Road entrance in the near future.  See the Flock Safety menu tab for more information.

BHNA Website and Facebook Page - It quickly became clear that having Flock Safety cameras alone would not be enough by itself.  We needed a way to communicate with neighborhood residents that went beyond emails and phone calls.  After researching website hosting options the BHNA Board agreed to work with a company called ClubExpress.  ClubExpress has a full-featured software designed expressly to support member-based organization needs, but also can facilitate relationships with non-members.  It is our objective that this website and Barrington Hall Neighborhood Association Facebook page will enable us to provide synergistic vehicles to communicate to and with residents in our community.

Home Camera Network - Residents with home cameras are in a unique position to capture images that together with Flock Safety camera footage can enhance the likelihood of successful identification and prosecution of criminals.  If you have home cameras that could help identify vehicles related to criminal activity, please consider joining the Home camera network.

Crime Reports - The Bibb County Sheriff's Office publishes bi-weekly Crime Bulletins that include crimes reported in Barrington Hall.  BHNA maintains a Google Email Group that automatically forwards the BCSO Crime Bulletin emails to its members.  To join the email group just click Barrington Hall Crime Reports.
